Dutch Wonderland - Lancaster, PA

Labor Day Weekend : we made the drive (4 hrs) on a very hot day.

Zachariah the Artist

Here's our little Van Gogh in action –

“This is hard work, not recommended to other toddlers.”

“You have to visualize the end before you start.”

:”And of course, you have to use every part of your body to extend the strokes.”

“My masterpiece is almost complete!”

“Where did I study?…mainly from Baby Van Gogh.”

“As you can see, you have to put your mind, body, and hair into it.”

“I am fineeeshed. Come and take a look at my masterpiece.”

Some of the final products of Zachariah the “artist”.

This painting was Zachariah’s first, it’s titled “The Waterfall”. Suzanne asked him what this was, Zachariah actually said “waterfall”.

Here’s one I call “The Helper”…little hand prints.

Few summer shots

Ready for takeoff –

Max’s time to fly –

Max’s favorite chair – the feeding chair.

The milkstache –

Last dip in the pool for the summer –

Balancing acts by Zachariah and Max –

2008 Summer Olympics: We all enjoyed the Olympics this summer. It was truly exciting to watch Michael Phelps and many of the other athletes. The most memorable moments for me was watching Zachariah and Suzanne shouting and chanting “Go Korea..Go Korea” as the Korean swimmer clinched the 800m freestyle. Our little piggy even got in the action…he started to wrestle with me during the Greco-roman wrestling.

Philadelphia - August 2008

We made another trip back to Philadelphia. Isac and Theresa flew from CA to spend few days with us.

Photos from the Chinese Restaurant – this place has the best Dim Sum.

Zachariah and Theresa having a singing contest…Zachariah was singing about the itsy bitsy spider…

Zachariah getting cleaned by Isac and Theresa.

Showing off the shades…

Zachariah recreating the scene from National Treasurer…except, he was running towards to the real location of where the Liberty Bell is showcased.

The trip wouldn’t be right without running up the Balboa steps (Philadelphia Museum of Art).

Inside the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.

Just like with many trips, it wouldn’t be quite complete without Zachariah immersing himself into any body of water. This time, he went right to the source (sprinkler).

On the way back home, we stopped by Gettsyburg Museum. The best part of Gettysburg is the battlefield. Sorry – no picts were taken of the battlefield. We ran out of time.

Me and the boys fooling around inside.

Zachariah now poses for the shots on command.
