Max's first day in Pre-school
Max will be the first child to start pre-school at a public school. Zachariah has been homeschooled and will be starting kindergarten this September with an establish home schooling network comprised of 100 children with various ages.
Suzanne and I had the opportunity to meet the new teachers and we also had a chance to see Max's new classroom.
Here's few photos from Thornydale Elementary School...this pre-school is geared for children with special needs. The bus picks up Max on Mon, Wed, and Thurs...his class starts at 12:30 and ends at 3 p.m.
Pretty advance special-ed class ...check out the computers.
Max is one of thirteen students in the afternoon class. There's also a morning session that starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
Our son's name on the wall -
The first big step for Max...a huge leap for us.
At first Max was a little apprehensive to be straddled in, but he eventually liked the bus.
Max didn't mind the five-point harness.
Mixed emotions for us, but a brand new experience for Max. First time on a bus and first time in a new facility...we've been told he napped all the way to the school.
