All Saints Day Celebration - 2010

Our first All Saints Day Celebration was fun and little work for us. Suzanne volunteered to organized the party...which meant I would be her right hand. It was definitely refreshing to see the creativity and the enthusiasm in the kids as they modeled their saints so proudly. This celebration was on behalf of all the homeschooling families. Its too bad not too many Catholic communities embrace All Saints Day as it should be..here's few photos of the event. Our Max didn't get to wear his saint's outfit..it was too close to his nap time.

Zachariah was St. Michael the Archangel. The priceless moment came when all the kids were asked to state their saint. Our son was told of St. Michael, but I guess the only saint he knew with confidence was St. Elizabeth....so, when it came to his turn - with no hesitation, he said "St. Elizabeth"...the whole place echoed with laughter...in a good way..

Suzanne dressed Bella as St. Teresa of Lisieux.

Our little flower was in good hands with our Lady..

St. Michael decided to take his wings off...this would have been a great photo of our little archangel standing next to Christ.
